چکیده
The objective of this study was isolating and characterising Clostridium perfringens from chickens in Vietnam identifying virulence factors involved with enteritis. Five hundred thirty-one faecal sixty-eight intestinal samples were collected healthy diseased for the C. isolation. presence determined by multiplex PCR. netB gene selected isolates sequenced checked its expression SDS-PAGE. Two seventy-two collected. All them shown to be positive cpa gene. detected 26.56% chickens, while 43.45% faeces 45% birds. eight showed 100% identity sequence produced NetB toxin vitro, whereas only two out chicken-derived toxin. Nine ten experimentally infected netB-positive isolate typical signs most prevalent factor identified bacteria perfringens, but could a major player responsible necrotic enteritis progression chickens.

Antimicrobial susceptibility of Clostridium perfringens strains isolated from broiler chickens
Clostridium perfringens is a normal inhabitant of the intestinal tract of chickens as well as a potential pathogen that causes necrotic enteritis and colangio hepatitis. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of seven different compounds used for therapy, growth promotion or prevention of coccidiosis was determined by agar dilution method for 55 C. perfringens strains isolated from the inte...

Clostridium perfringens is an important cause of bacterial food poisoning worldwide. The disease is caused by C. perfringens enterotoxin (CPE) encoded by cpe gene. The aim of this research was to identify the different types of C. perfringens and the presence of cpe gene in isolated bacteria from broilers’ meat marketed in retail meat shops of Mashha...
متن کاملIsolation, identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility of Clostridium perfringens isolates from acute necrotic enteritis of broiler chickens
The aim of this study was to isolate, identify and determine the antimicrobial susceptibility of Clostridium perfringens (CP) isolates from acute necrotic enteritis of broiler chickens. All broiler carcasses diagnosed as necrotic enteritis (NE) were sampled, subjected to microbial tests and 40 isolates were identified according to standard procedures. The antimicrobial susceptibility of CP isol...

Background Clostridium perfringens is ubiquitous in nature. It is a normal inhabitant in the intestinal tract of animals and humans. As the primary etiological agent of gas gangrene, necrosis and bacteremia, C. perfringens causes food poisoning, necrotic enteritis (NE), and even death. Epidemiology research has indicated that the increasing incidence of NE in poultry is associated with the with...
